GSO Fishing Landau Pontoon at the lake

2018 Landau A’Lure 232c
Center Console, 23 foot, 3 pontoon
140 HP Suzuki 4-stroke outboard

Andy’s Landau is the ultimate boat in fishability and luxury for any group big or small. The open floor plan allows for tons of space for fishing and the roomy couches and captains chair seating are great for relaxing.

This is our fleet’s largest boat at 23′ and can handle up to 10 guests comfortably.  The 3 pontoons make it very stable in all conditions. It is also equipped with a Lowrance HDS 12 Fish Finder, A Minn Kota Ulterra Trolling Motor and Scotty High-Performance Electric Downriggers making finding the fish and staying on them that much easier.

GSO Fishing Guide Cody Rowe's Starcraft Guide Boat

Starting out as the original boat in our fleet, Cody’s 18’9″  Starcraft Superfisherman has seen incredible days out on the water.  Powered by a 150 horespower Mercury Optimax, a Mercury 9.9 pro kicker and a Minn Kota Terrova 112 means this boat is able to maneuver in the roughest waves or the calmest waters.

Helping navigate under the water is Cody’s Lowrance HDS-9 Gen 3 touchscreen fishfinder, featuring the latest advances in navigation and user interface. But his boat wouldn’t be complete without his 2 Scotty HP Electric downriggers making this the perfect fishing vessel for all the different species of fish that Blue Mesa Reservoir has to offer.

GSO Fishing Guide Ryan VanLanen's Lund Guide Boat

Ryan’s 18’6″ Lund Sport Angler can been seen motoring across the west end of the lake with his 150 horesepower Mercury Verado.  His Mercury 9.9 Pro Kicker helps him troll the deeper waters of the lake and his Minn Kota Terrova 80 electric motor makes it possible to maneuver around miles of shoreline.

Tracking giant Lake Trout across 20 miles of reservoir is nearly impossible but Ryan’s Lowrance Touch 7 Gen 2 fishfinder takes the guess work out of it.  His Cannon Magnum 5 electric downriggers help get his line and lures down to the reservoir bottom where giant Lake Trout like to sit and cool off in the heat of the summer.

Gunnison Sports Outfitters fishing guide Randy Sandoval's guide boat loaded on the trailer after taking it out of Blue Mesa Reservoir.

Joining the fleet in 2013, Randy’s 20′ Lund Tyee is definitely a hard core fishing machine. Featuring a Mercury Verado 225 horsepower motor, a Mercury 9.9 Pro kicker and a Minn Kota Terrova 80 electric motor this boat is set for any weather condition that may arise on the reservoir.

As many anglers know, finding the Kokanee Salmon that school at depths of up to 100 feet is not always easy on Blue Mesa Reservoir. Helping Randy locate those large schools is his Lowrance HDS-8 Gen 2 fishfinder and his Cannon Magnum 5 electric downriggers.  Both of these tools not only make trolling for Salmon possible but help him locate and catch fish more efficiently.

Gunnison Sports Outfitters fishing guide Kyle Jones' Blue Mesa Premier Pontoon Boat at the Elk Creek Marina dock.

Kyle’s pontoon is a 20′ Premier 201 Explorer with a 90 horsepower Yamaha 4 stroke motor.  He also added a Minn Kota Ulterra 80 electric motor with I-Pilot to help follow balls of Perch as they move around the lake.

Kyle can also track those balls of Perch with his Lowrance HDS 5 Gen 2 fishfinder.  If Perch fishing isn’t what the trip calls for he added two Scotty HP electric downriggers which give this boat the versatility to cover multiple species of fish.

The dual side doors and front gate make it easier to land those larger fish when netting them over the rail just won’t cut it.  Featuring two front captains chairs, a large lounge couch, two rear seats, and an open floor plan makes this the ultimate family and large party fishing vessel.
