Trevor Keenan

“I spend my summers traveling the west working for the U.S. Forest Service. Other than hunting, I spend most of my spare time fishing.  Born on the western slope of Colorado I grew up trout fishing but love learning how to fish other species and new bodies of water. I love all types of fishing from fly to ice, trout to bass and a more recent passion of mine has been making my own jigs, flies, and lures.”

Eli Wilder - EW Marabou (with a huge Pike he caught on his fly rod)

Eli Wilder
EW Series Marabou

I’ve been able to call Gunnison valley home for the past 16 years and in that time I’ve spent a lot of time on the water. Fishing Blue Mesa and its surrounding drainages has been a passion of mine for years. Primarily a fly fishing guide (Dragonfly Anglers, Gunnison River Expeditions) I truly enjoy sharing and teaching my passion for anything fishing. Tying flies and jigs to produce the results I’m looking for has been more out of necessity than anything but also has become a passion of mine. If I’m not on the river you can find me on one of the lakes chasing the toothy critters (or in the woods)!!
