Kids 12 & Under Fish FREE!
At GSO Fishing, we believe in inspiring the next generation of anglers. To encourage kids to get outside, enjoy the outdoors, and create lifelong memories on the water, we don’t charge for children 12 and under!
Kids 12 and under count toward the total number of people in your party, but you’ll only pay for the adults and older children. Whether it’s their first time fishing or they’re already hooked on the sport, we’re excited to help them build their skills and love for fishing.
Bring the whole family and let us help create an unforgettable day on the water!
What To Expect:
While every trip is different due to each anglers’ individual needs, there is a general process that our trips follow:
-
Requesting Your Trip: Start by filling out our trip request form on our website. This form allows you to specify what you’re looking for in your fishing adventure. (We are only offering evening Shoreline trips at this time.)
-
Confirmation Process: Once we receive your request, our team will review the details and get back to you to confirm available dates. After we finalize your trip date, you’ll receive information on what to expect next and how to prepare for your fishing adventure.
-
Pre-Trip Communication: A few days before your trip, your guide will contact you to discuss the final details. This includes confirming the meeting time and location and finalizing any remaining payment details and paperwork. (*We make this call so close to the date of the trip because the fishing and weather conditions on Blue Mesa are ever changing and we want to have the most up to date information so we can decided which would be the best area to fish from.)
-
Evening Of The Trip: On the evening of your trip, you’ll park in the parking lot of the agreed upon area and meet your guide. Before setting off, your guide with run through a brief safety orientation and go over any other questions you may have. This is also a great time to take a group photos if you want one!
All Trips Include:
Our guides are fully equipped with all the fishing gear needed to have a successful evening out on the water but you are welcome to bring any tackle you wish.
After a successful evening on the water, our guides will process your fish for you. We are happy to fillet them to your specifications so that they are perfect for your next fish fry, canning day, or campfire cookout.
